Seeking real-world experiences and lessons that continue to advance the profession
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — The Business Architecture Guild®, a global community of business architecture practitioners, has opened its call for presentation abstracts for the 15th Annual Business Architecture Innovation Summit™, taking place March 16-18, 2027, in Reston, Virginia, with virtual participation available worldwide.
For more than a decade, the Summit has brought together practitioners, experts, executives, and organizations from around the world to share success stories, industry advancements, and key learnings from applying business architecture across industries and scenarios. As the profession has evolved, so has the Summit, providing a forum to showcase business architecture in practice and explore how organizations are using it to address business challenges and advance transformation.
The Guild invites corporations, government agencies, nonprofits, and academic institutions to share how they are applying business architecture to real business challenges. It is seeking practitioner-led case studies, executive perspectives, and emerging practices across topics including artificial intelligence, strategy execution, customer experience, risk management, product management, data architecture, software design, digital transformation, organizational change, and scaling enterprise-wide practices. Compelling stories with meaningful outcomes, lessons learned, or innovative applications are especially encouraged, as are alternative topics.
“The most valuable contributions to our profession come from people doing the work, solving business problems, learning what works, and sharing those lessons with others,” said John Faulkenberry, Business Architecture Guild® Board Member. “The Summit provides a unique forum to turn those experiences into knowledge that moves the profession forward.”
Abstracts are due October 16, 2026. Speakers may present virtually or in person, with in-person participation preferred. Solution and service providers are encouraged to co-submit and co-present with a practitioner or executive from a client organization. Primary speakers receive complimentary Summit registration; secondary speakers receive discounted registration. Guild members holding CBA® status receive 10 CEU credits.
