Duggan will oversee workplace sales and broker relationships in the national life insurance carrier’s Southeast region
CANTON, Mass., Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Boston Mutual Life Insurance Company, a mutual insurer providing access to insurance solutions, announced today the appointment of Sean Duggan as Regional Sales Director for Georgia and Northeast Florida, covering Jacksonville to Gainesville, FL, in the latter area. In his new role, Duggan will oversee workplace sales across the Southeast markets. He will focus on strengthening relationships with existing insurance brokers and developing new producer partnerships throughout the region.

Duggan brings more than 20 years of experience in sales, leadership, marketing, and brand development, with an extensive background in the voluntary workplace benefits industry. Prior to joining Boston Mutual Life, he served as a Regional Vice President at Assurity, where he led market development efforts and expanded the company’s broker network throughout the Gulf Coast region. Previously, he held sales roles at Cosaint Benefits, Aflac, and Colonial Life. Duggan is a member of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP) and former president of its South Atlanta chapter, as well as a member of the Worldwide Employee Benefits Network (WEB). He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
