New seasonal experience will transform Mershops North County Mall into a six-week fall destination with five distinct zones and programming for all ages
ESCONDIDO, Calif., Sept. 11, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Boo Bash, a seasonal pumpkin patch and family fall festival, will make its California debut on Friday, September 18 at Mershops North County Mall in Escondido, transforming the mall parking lot into a six-week fall destination with seasonal attractions, activities and entertainment through November 1.
Spanning five distinct zones, Boo Bash will offer a mix of classic fall traditions, interactive attractions and seasonal entertainment for guests of all ages. The six-week experience will feature pumpkins available for purchase, local food and retail vendors, seasonal displays, photo opportunities, panning for gems, a 60-foot pumpkin bounce pad, a petting zoo, a children’s racetrack, inflatable attractions, zorb balls, face painting, carnival games and more.
Boo Bash will also host live music every Friday and Saturday night, along with select movie nights and rotating family entertainment throughout the season.

Boo Bash will run from September 18 through November 1 at Mershops North County Mall in Escondido. The festival will be open Monday through Thursday from 3:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 3:00 to 10:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Tickets for entry start at $5 and can be purchased at www.boobashescondido.com/tickets. General admission includes access to the hay mazes, live entertainment, seasonal displays, photo opportunities and more, while attraction credits can be purchased at kiosks throughout the event.
