Qualified buyers can borrow up to $2 million to buy a home with new Home Purchase Line
CAMPBELL, Calif., Oct. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Aven has developed a new way to finance a home purchase that can reduce the time from application to closing to as little as seven days. Qualified buyers can borrow up to $2 million.
Aven’s seven-day timeline begins when a buyer applies to finance a home they want to buy and ends when the sale closes. By comparison, a conventional mortgage loan took an average of 42 days to close, according to June 2025 industry data from ICE Mortgage Technology.
Aven recently completed a home purchase in Tucson, Arizona, in 67 hours from application to closing. The transaction shows that the seven-day timeline is already achievable in production.
The Home Purchase Line builds on Aven’s financial infrastructure for processing complex financial transactions quickly and more efficiently. Applicants can get preapproved in minutes, as Aven’s technology streamlines every step from application through closing.
“We built Aven to take some of the hardest and most complex financial products and make them an order of magnitude better for consumers,” said Aven co-founder and CEO Sadi Khan. “Homebuying has many steps, and technology can make those steps faster, simpler and more efficient. With the Aven Home Purchase Line, an eligible buyer could tour an open house on a Sunday and get their keys by next Saturday.”
The Home Purchase Line is a line of credit secured by the home being purchased. Buyers do not need to be existing homeowners to qualify. Aven evaluates both the borrower and the home as part of the purchase.
Unlike a traditional mortgage, the Home Purchase Line combines a 30-year repayment term inside an open-end line of credit. Borrowers repay the purchase balance through fixed monthly payments with a fixed interest rate and retain access to available credit after closing for reuse.
