LINCOLN, Neb., Sept. 28, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Cori Mooberry is Assurity’s new Executive Vice President of Worksite Sales. She brings more than 20 years of insurance industry experience, including leadership roles at LifeSecure, BCBS of Nebraska, and most recently, CareScout (Genworth).
Throughout her career, she has driven sales growth in worksite/voluntary and employer-sponsored benefits across independent distributor networks of all sizes.
Mooberry became a licensed insurance agent in 2006 and advanced to management roles, most recently, Director and Worksite Channel Leader at CareScout.

The move to Assurity brings Mooberry’s career full circle. She began her carrier career at Assurity nearly 17 years ago, working first in the underwriting call center and later in Sales.

Cori studied exercise science at Nebraska Wesleyan University and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Leadership from Bellevue University. She is nearing completion of a Master of Business Administration degree from Bellevue University.
