Nagy cashed for $88,800 on OSS XL’s opening Sunday and points to full-hole-card replays as another layer of transparency.
SAN JOSE, Costa Rica, Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Americas Cardroom CEO Phil Nagy reached two final tables on Sunday, September 6, collecting $88,800 across the $10,300 Phil’s Thrill and $2,650 Mini Phil’s Thrill as the company’s new Final Table Replayer put completed final-table action under a brighter spotlight.
Playing as Justsomefish72, Nagy finished second in Phil’s Thrill for $78,000 from a $260,000 prize pool, then placed fifth in Mini Phil’s Thrill for $10,800 from a $90,000 prize pool.
Nagy created the Phil’s Thrill family so he could regularly compete with high-stakes players on the site. Sunday also marked the first Mini Phil’s Thrill PLO, a $2,650 Pot-Limit Omaha event that drew 54 entries and built a $135,000 prize pool, with the event planned as a weekly addition.

The timing comes as OSS XL runs September 6-29 with 336 events and more than $50 million in guarantees.
