“Every accreditation and reaccreditation affirms that, 25 years after AAHRPP’s founding, AAHRPP accreditation is more valuable than ever,” AAHRPP President and CEO Elyse I. Summers said. “AAHRPP accreditation is widely regarded as an essential mark of quality. As a result, in today’s collaborative research enterprise, organizations increasingly look for the ‘gold seal’ of AAHRPP accreditation when choosing research partners.”
To earn and maintain accreditation, organizations must demonstrate that they adhere to AAHRPP’s high standards for research. These include incorporating extensive safeguards throughout their research operation and committing to a culture of continuous improvement. In a global, collaborative research environment, accreditation status can provide added assurance and a competitive edge.
