BLOOMINGTON, Minn. , Oct. 14, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — FirstService Residential, the leading property management company in Minnesota hosted its first Board of Directors’ Forum & Vendor Showcase on September 24 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bloomington, bringing together approximately 250 community association board members and 40 vendor partners from across the Twin Cities and surrounding areas. The event was designed to provide volunteer board members with valuable opportunities to connect, learn, and access resources to help them better serve their communities.

Community association board members and industry professionals gather at FirstService Residential Minnesota’s 2026 Board of Directors’ Forum & Vendor Showcase.

The forum featured educational sessions led by industry experts, networking opportunities with fellow board members, and a vendor showcase highlighting trusted service providers that support community associations throughout Minnesota. Attendees learned about emerging trends, shared best practices, and discussed solutions to challenges that board members are facing today.

A key highlight of the event was the opportunity for board members to engage directly with local vendor partners, gaining insight into products and services that can help support their communities and operational goals.

“One of the most valuable aspects of this forum was bringing board members and trusted service providers together in one place,” said Broc Coen, President, FirstService Residential Minnesota. “Board members have significant responsibilities, and having the opportunity to meet vendors, ask questions, evaluate solutions, and build relationships firsthand helps them make informed decisions that best serve their communities.”

Feedback from attendees reinforced the value of the event’s educational and networking opportunities:

“The Board Forum provided a great opportunity to connect with other association leaders, hear from industry experts, and learn practical strategies we can bring back to our community. The combination of educational content, networking, and access to vendors made the event both informative and valuable.”– Board Member Attendee

The event was created in response to growing demand for educational and networking opportunities tailored specifically to community association leaders. Throughout the evening, attendees connected with peers, gathered practical insights from industry professionals, and strengthened relationships with partners who support community success.

“Community association board members dedicate countless volunteered hours to supporting their neighborhoods,” said Megan Kucz, Senior Director, Client Success & Operations, FirstService Residential. “Which is why we believe it’s important to provide them with access to education, industry expertise, and resources that empower them to make confident, informed decisions on behalf of their residents. This forum reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting board members and the communities they serve.”

The success of the first Board of Directors’ Forum & Vendor Showcase was made possible through the support of participating vendor partners, presenters, volunteers, and FirstService Residential team members. Their contributions helped create a collaborative environment focused on education, engagement, and community leadership.

Building on the strong response from attendees, FirstService Residential Minnesota looks forward to continuing to provide educational opportunities, meaningful industry connections, and valuable resources for community association board members across the region.
