Mic Drop’s sound system is built for high-impact performance, delivering crisp vocal clarity and deep, room-shaking bass. Guests sing on a Sennheiser digital wireless microphone platform, paired with concert-grade speakers, pro-level audio processing and custom subwoofers engineered for powerful, consistent sound night after night.
Visually, each room features dynamic linear and spot lighting, haze effects, and a disco ball, turning every song into its own special moment. Multiple displays in each private studio keep lyrics crisp, bright, and easy to read. The Main Stage is visually striking and camera-ready, with a full venue lighting and laser package, ensuring every performance looks incredible.

Mic Drop is located in the heart of West Hollywood, a neighborhood synonymous with music history, rock-and-roll attitude, and the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. The building was originally constructed in 1922 and later became home to the legendary Larrabee Recording Studios, where artists from Prince to Michael Jackson recorded iconic hits. Today, Mic Drop channels that electric legacy through a modern Art Deco–inspired aesthetic, blending sculptural curves, rich materials, and cinematic lighting into a space that feels equal parts classic Hollywood and modern nightlife. That musical legacy continues with Stephen Jenkins, frontman of Third Eye Blind, as an investor and advisor.
