INGLEWOOD, Calif., April 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Last night, Candy Crush® took over game night at Intuit Dome during the LA Clippers vs. Portland Trail Blazers matchup, surprising fans with a celebrity appearance from Anna Faris, who went undercover as the Bubblegum Troll as part of the arena-wide activation. Through its partnership with Intuit Dome, the iconic mobile game transformed the venue into a live fan experience, bringing the game to life with surprises, rewards, and interactive moments for the crowd.

Basketball is about more than what happens on the court — some of the most memorable experiences happen around the game. Guided by King’s mission of Making the World Playful, Candy Crush brought that energy to Intuit Dome, turning game night into a series of fun, unexpected moments for fans across the arena.

As the fourth quarter wound down, the host teased that a Candy Crush superfan had taken their fandom to the next level by stepping into the game itself. The surprise reveal began as soon as fans spotted one of Candy Crush’s beloved characters, Bubblegum Troll, burst onto the court. While costumed characters usually stay anonymous, the host revealed this one couldn’t, and moments later, the mask came off, revealing Anna Faris to the crowd.

“I’ve played a lot of roles, but stepping into the world of Candy Crush like this was something completely new,” said Anna Faris. “I’ve always loved how the game is all about fun, joy, and a little bit of absurdity, so getting to bring that energy to life in an LA Clippers game like this made it an even more unique experience. I’m hoping for an awards push for this role!”

Throughout the night, Candy Crush transformed Intuit Dome into a vibrant, high-energy playground. Alongside Bubblegum Troll fan-favorite characters Yeti, Tiffi, and Mr. Toffee appeared all across the arena, crashing the pre-game intro, popping up in the infamous Swell fan section, taking over the Clippers Spirit team halftime performance, and bringing surprise and delight moments to every quarter. The experience extended arena-wide with candy-colored visuals, signature jingles, game-led giveaways, and exclusive merch that brought the world of Candy Crush to life. From tip-off to the final buzzer, Candy Crush made the entire game night experience that much sweeter.
