Mitchell was selected alongside two other finalists based on her professional achievements, leadership, mentorship, and industry impact.

At YMX, she leads national yard and trucking operations and holds enterprise-wide responsibility across operations, human resources, IT, engineering, customer success, fleet safety, and maintenance.
Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing YMX’s mission to modernize outsourced yard logistics through a more standardized, technology-enabled operating model. By applying enterprise-level rigor to field-based operations, Mitchell has helped improve safety performance, operational efficiency, and scalability across distributed customer networks.

She actively mentors emerging talent, contributes to academic programs, and has played a key role in expanding leadership opportunities for women within YMX, with more than half of recent leadership hires filled by women.
