Samuel Gearing is a distinguished fragrance expert and entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in luxury retail and perfumery. Beginning his career at Fortnum & Mason, he progressed to management, overseeing prestigious fragrance houses including Parfums M. Micallef and Grossmith. In 2019, he founded SG Brands, which has grown into one of the UK’s fastest-growing distributors of artisan fragrance and bath products, representing exceptional independent brands across retail and wholesale. In 2020, he co-founded Fiole, the world’s first virtual perfumery experience, pioneering a new approach to online fragrance discovery. Samuel has also collaborated with the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, as co-author of Kew: Fragrance – From Plant to Perfume (2024), combining botanical science with the art of fragrance storytelling.
